Multicultural and Race Equality Policy

Purpose of the Policy
The policy, along with other company policies will show the our commitment to the requirements of the Race Relations Amendment Act (RRAA) and allow full compliance with statutory obligations.
Multicultural and Race Equality Commitment
Fitness Industry Education is fully committed to equal opportunities, including race equality and aims to ensure that all actual or potential employees, students and other stakeholders are treated equally.
Promoting Equality
Race Equality will be promoted throughout the company by all staff from the Board of Management downwards. Students will be encouraged to engage in the promotion of good relations between all ethnic groups while training with us.
Fitness Industry Education Limited would only wish to associate with like minded organisations who also respect concepts contained in the RRAA. Accordingly Work Placement Providers, Partners, Contractors, Suppliers and Community Links who associate with us will be expected to comply with the intent and requirements of the act.
Breaches of the multicultural and Race Equality Policy
Fitness Industry Education Limited will view breaches of the terms of the Policy by staff or students with the utmost seriousness and disciplinary action will take place in accordance with company’s policies. This also applies to external service providers or third parties such as visitors. The system for reporting and dealing with racist incidents, from whatever source, is fully detailed in the policy.
Consultation and Review
The policy will be reviewed annually by the company. Feedback from staff, students and others associated with the us is welcomed.
