I chose FIE because I liked the idea of being able to do my Level 3 Personal Training course from my own home, in my own time and at my own computer. I came into the fitness industry at the age of 55 after working in a demanding NHS job, so flexibility around time to study was important to me.

I found the course content systematic and easy to navigate. It was useful to be able to save information that I felt I needed rather than have lots of books to search through. I also loved having immediate access to other information for revision and reference.

I did regularly contact the office, particularly towards the end of the course and I always found everyone really helpful. I attended several one-day training sessions and found these to be invaluable, meeting other people doing the course and getting the practical support from tutors. The assessors I met were very professional but very friendly.
